The Office of Family, Marriage, Youth Ministry loves the pre-born child, the mother and the father. We are called by God to respect life from conception to natural death.

Adoption & Foster Care Support

St. Joseph Ministry - The objective of the St. Joseph Ministry is to raise awareness of the many ways Catholics can support children who enter the State of Texas’ Child Protective Services (CPS) system. This awareness will be measured by the number of individuals, families and parishes becoming involved in foster care and adoption.

Walking with Moms in Need

In the Diocese of Beaumont, it is incumbent on the faithful to be prepared so that pregnant and parenting mothers in need can find support within our parish communities. As Pope Francis reminded us, our parishes are called to be “islands of mercy in the midst of a sea of indifference.” All members of our parish communities should be aware of where to refer a pregnant woman who needs help.

Walking with Moms in Need in the Diocese of Beaumont is an opportunity for Catholic parishes and communities to:

• "Walk in the shoes" of local pregnant and parenting women in need.
• Accompany these mothers in friendship and support.
• Connect them with helpful local resources.

This initiative provides a framework for parishes in the Diocese of Beaumont to:

• Create an inventory of local resources.
• Identify and address gaps in existing services.
• Implement a parish-based response tailored to their unique findings and gifts.

Parishes can work to support local pregnancy centers in the area. Where local resources are scarce, parishes can also create their own programs based on the specific gifts and needs of their community.
